Hi, I’m Katie, the artist behind Wild Thorn Collective! Following a rewarding career as a finance executive, I decided to hit pause on the spreadsheets and dive into something I’ve always wanted to do—creating.

One of my favorite parts of any hobby has always been collecting supplies—it’s practically a hobby in itself! Who hasn’t fallen down the rabbit hole of buying just one more thing for a project they might do someday, only to never actually start it? That’s been me more times than I’d like to admit. Can you relate? But lately, I’ve shifted from planning to actually creating—and that’s where the real fun begins. Wild Thorn Collective was born from this newfound love for making things.

Wild Thorn Collective is all about fun, creativity, and adding personality to your space. As a newer woodworker and budding artist, I love turning bold, colorful ideas into quirky, one-of-a-kind pieces. I’ve always dreamed of being a painter, but traditional paints never quite did what I wanted—no matter how hard I tried. Then I discovered digital art, and everything changed. It’s been the perfect way to bring the ideas in my head to life, opening the creative floodgates and letting me share the vibrant, playful designs I’ve always imagined.

Each piece from Wild Thorn Collective is designed to be more than just décor—it’s a reflection of joy, creativity, and individuality. I believe art has the power to transform spaces into something uniquely personal and inspiring. Whether it’s a funky handpainted wooden star that I’ve crafted from start to finish (well, almost—I didn’t cut down the tree) or a cool digital design for your home, every piece is made to add a little charm and personality to your space.

While I don’t currently keep framed prints in stock, I can help arrange framing that complements your style and ensures the artwork is ready to display.
